I Stand Exactly Here

This event will see the launch of Alison Dunne's chapbook April's Fish, published by Koo Press with cover design by Eddie Gibbons.

Eddie Gibbons is a founder member of the Lemon Tree Writers. He has two poetry books published by Thirsty Books, Edinburgh, and two publications by Koo Press, Aberdeen. His new (Thirsty) book of football poems Game On! will be available in May 2006. He is currently Aberdeen City Council's Scouser in Residence.

Alison Dunne presently awaits the sale of her novel Eco Pops. Her work has been published and broadcast on Radio 4 and she has read her work at many venues including the Bloomsbury Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe. April's Fish from Koo Press is her first chapbook.

Eric Swanepoel is a former Lemon Tree Writer. Now in Edinburgh, he has given up being a veterinarian to write. His political romcom, Saving the World and Being Happy, received encouraging reviews. He recently completed a biography and has published poetry and short stories. He plays the fiddle badly.

Gerard Rochford's recent poetry publications include Three Way Street and The Holy Family and Other Poems, both published by Koo Press. His work has appeared in many magazines, most recently Northwords Now. He is a founder member of Dead Good Poets, and convenor of their poetry readings at Books and Beans. He is a poetry editor for Pushing Out the Boat.
